Gene Belcher Scholarship
Award Amount: $1000 each semester
In order to apply for these scholarships, students must submit an application with a cover letter explaining their need for the scholarship, a resume, at least one letter of recommendation, and their current high school or college transcript. All New Applicant information is due March 1st for fall applications and November 1st for spring applications. Continuing Scholarships deadlines for Transcripts and grades are September 1st for fall and February 1st for spring . Checks will be written to the schools on February 15th and September 15th . At this time No Summer Scholarships will be awarded

Horatio Alger Assocation
Deadline: Application is available online August 1 – October 25
Since 1984, the Horatio Alger Assocation has awarded over $143 million in college scholarships to derserving students. This program provides financial assistance to students throughout the nation who have significant financial need and have exhibited integrity and perserverance in overcoming personal adversity. The awards range from $6,000 to $25,000.
Elegibility criteria include: high school graduation in spring/summer, demonstrated critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income), and United State citizenship.
Hagan Scholarship Foundation
Deadline: November 15, 2020 at 5:00pm CST
The Hagen Scholarship is a nationwise need-based merit scholarship, designed to provide each recipient with the oppurtunity to graduate college debt free. The intended recipient of a Hagen Scholarship is a high-achieving, self-motiviated student who will require financial assistance to attend college. Each award provides up to $6,000 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters and includes a $15,000 Schwab Investment Account and fully paid Study Abroad Award.
